Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Delta, has called on Nigerian youths to put an end to the EndSARS campaign after the federal government heard their demands.
Mr. Joel Thomas claimed that despite the willingness of the government to respond positively to their demands, the continued agitation of the youth on the streets would give space for hoodlums to hijack the situation and begin their evil activities as they have already begun in some states, According to The Sun Reports.

The APC bigwig, also a Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) state coordinator for Delta, Edo and Rivers, expressed fear that if care is not taken, the protest could degenerate into something unpalatable across the country.
He called on young people to give the administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari the opportunity to start enforcing their demands as promised.
He stated that:
“I wish to align myself with the urgent need for total reformation of Nigeria Police. EndSARS alone will not give the desired result. An improved welfare package will be the step in the right direction. “A word of caution. The president and civil societies should listen to each other. The stability of the country is very important. Our democracy is under threat! We should not overstretch an issue if it is being handled. Remember this is how it all started in Syria.
“You have made your point, it is time to articulate your demands and sit down with the government to implement these before the essence of this struggle is abused.”
